The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk announced plans for the amusement park¹s first ³Gay Family Day² to be held on October 3, 2009 from 11am to 7pm.

 Gay Family Day will include information booths, entertainment, face painting, jugglers, special activities, an event tee shirt, and amusement park rides.

Tickets for the Boardwalk¹s first Gay Family Day are $32.95 per person,

which includes a $3 donation to a local GLBT organization.   The

family-friendly event is a special day for families, but everyone is invited to attend.

The Santa Cruz Dream Inn and Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley are offering special ³Gay Family Day² discounts for overnight visitors.
